High School Announcements - November 19, 2008
1. The 2009 Eagle Yearbook is now on sale. The books will cost $40.00 if they are ordered by January 30th with a $5 extra charge for name stamping if you want it. Mrs. Mitchell will be selling the books.
2. JV & Varsity Field Hockey – If you have not turned in your uniforms or paid for the banquet, you need to do so NOW. Thank you.
3. SENIORS: Baby pictures and profiles are past due. They will be accepted until the typing is complete. If you want to be included in the yearbook, get these items in.
4. The ASVAB will be administered to all juniors on the half-day, Friday, November 21. Any senior who missed the test last year, or who wishes to retake the ASVAB, may do so by signing up in the Guidance office (11/20).
5. There will be a FCCLA Meeting today, November 19, at 3:00 in Room 29.
6. Today, an Army representative will be in the cafeteria hallway during lunch periods. Stop by if you would like to speak with them.
7. There will be a mandatory Drama Club meeting today in Room 203 from 2:50-3:30. All members must attend. We will be discussing set construction and establishing backstage crew.
8. The Great American Smokeout is tomorrow--Thursday, November 20, 2008.
9. Attention Art Club: There is a meeting today at 3 pm in Mr. Rice’s room. New members are welcome.
10. Field hockey players: The banquet will be on December 4, 2008 at 6 p.m. If you have not seen Mrs. Dean about it, please do so as soon as possible.
11. Computer lab is closed: Periods 1 & 7/8.
