Indoor Track

Teachers yell at you if you run in the halls, but at indoor track the coaches require it. The team had about 37 members on it. This was one of the largest indoor track team the school has had.

There were nine seniors on the team, six girls, three boys. The six girls were Aubrey Predham, Brandie Parker, Elyssa Ellerson, Kaitlyn Sorochinsky, Steffi Braucks, and Sarah Crosier. The three boys were Adrian Milisavljevich, Lee Pfeil, and Nate Stocking.

The team had one meet at Cortland College and the rest were at Cornell College. The guys had twelve events that they could take part in, and the girls had seven.

The male athlete who dominated was senior Milisavljevich by having the three personal best time in the 1000m run, 600m run, and 1600m run.

Kyle Jerauld had the season's best time for the 55m dash, and 300m dash. Stocking had the best time for the 55m hurdles, and height for the triple jump.

Tom Taft had the season's best distance for the shot put, Zack Beck had the best height for the high jump, Sam Soeffing had the best height for the pole vault, Pfeil and Matt Kovack both had the best distance at the long jump pit.

The female athlete who dominated was Amy Tillotson having three personal bests in 600m run, 300m dash, and shot put. Nadiya Logvis had the season's best time for the the 55m dash and the best height for the long jump.

Crosier had the best time for the 1000m run and Predham had the best time for the 1500m Racewalk.

The indoor track team wasn't able the compete in the State Qualifying Meet due to the weather. All the other teams were present so the section coordinators had the meet without Whitney Point. Therefore no Whitney Point track members were able to qualify in the State meet.
