An Experiment with Science

 This year has been a great success for the Science Club. With a turnout ofat ]least 35 members, there was never a shortage of students who wanted to learn.
Mr. Wiley, the leader of the science club, took students on many trips this year including trips to Cornell and its many schools, an ice rink to go ice skating, and a science museum.
The president of the club this year was Gale Lawrence.With an average of 20 students going on each trip, the club recently visited the CornellVet School and Animal Hospital and were able to interact with current vet students and their projects also they got to see rescued wildlife.
During the trip they also visited the Food Science Department where they were able to taste test samples of ice cream that were made by students at Cornell. “It is some of the best ice cream in the country,” said Mr. Wiley.
This was the last trip that the club will take this year but the club isn't done having fun yet. Mr. Wiley says that the club still plans to get running clothing for the members and they hope to have them ready for the seniors who will be graduating this year.
Mr. Wiley hopes that next year he will have as good turnout as this year because this year was such a great success. There are no grade restrictions for the club so anyone can join.
