THE WHOLE TEAM WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!
This year the Yearbook Committee has had a record sale, with over the anticipated three hundred being sold. This is good news for the students and faculty who spend hours at a time working to make the yearbook a successful project. With only nine students on the committee, everybody has to work harder, especially since a majority of the girls are first-timers. I, myself, am a member of the Yearbook Committee, and found it difficult at first to work with the computer programs. But after a couple of weeks, it became easier to do the work without assistance. Members of the Committee include Alicia Babcock, Dannielle Babcock, Minyka Starks, Ashley Brown, Megan Jenks, Tricia McKane, Catie Perry, Kasey Taylor and Aubrey Predham. Ashley Brown, a senior and first-year member, said “The Yearbook has come along quite well throughout the year. We cut some deadlines close, but we got it done.” The Yearbook itself is a $19,000 project and personal hours range anywhere from 25 hours to 300 hours. Some of the students stayed after school while others spent their study halls working on their pages and finishing deadlines. Others spent their own time coming to school activities, such as games and dances, to take pictures. By Alicia Babcock |
